I think your regex is broken

<>n.|2.u.<>UPC|Overkill{(V)ODE} was renamed for having an inappropriate name (40calgames).
however, overkill is totally acceptable...
And then:
[REGISTER SYSTEM] Sorry, but name change is not allowed for Logged players!

my suggestion is to stop changing your name

Yea I thing that is mainly why you got that message because of the constant name change. Stick to one name, there is no need for a new name every 5 minutes.

• My name that I have always joined with is "<>n.|2.u.<>UPC|Overkill{(V)ODE}"
• The server spawned me then slew me for having an inappropriate name
• I changed it from 40calgames (#) to "overkill", which was acceptable to the filter
• I could no longer change my name after that

This wasn't because I was intentionally changing my name, the problem is with the regex that determines inappropriate names. This was not a problem until yesterday.

Player just joined with name "Conan ->" and was renamed in the same fashion. The > is breaking the name filter
