To start it off. I would like to recommend you guys give STEAM ID ban to Shakulu and slay so he can SLAY hackers LOL. I cannot say I play that much but when my 8 month old son does let me play, usually I always see Shakulu playing and hacking (jk in the hacks LOL). Anyways, well today there were a few hackers in the WarCraft server and Shakulu was having a hard time banning them because of the Names either being the same or probably because of same ip's (not sure what went wrong, just know he was having trouble).

Well anyways apart from Shakulu. I do not understand why admins do not have the power to STEAM ID BAN? From my years of playing banning by STEAM ID is always the safest way to ban since there cannot be duplicate steam id's, where as there can be duplicate names and more than one player playing from IP address (Ip addresses that can also change from time to time).

3 stars can ban. 1 and 2 stars can vote_ban.

The problem is - there are a ton of 9 and 10 digit steam ids which are fake (generated) IDs. Sometimes you can ban them, but sometimes you can't. And even if you can, they can simply generate a new fake ID and come right back. 9 and 10 digits need to be banned by ip, but this can only be done by 3 stars and above.

Ahh okay thanks for the explanation. In all the time I have played I never knew about Steam ID Generators LOL.
