its about that time of the year...good friday is here..who takes the day off or leaves work early?

What does good Friday celebrate? D:

It is the day that our Lord Jesus Christ was cruxified for our sins. Easter is the day he was resurrected and rose from the dead.


It is NOT about the Easter bunny! lol


Oh and Christmas by the way is not about presents and Santa.... that is the day that Jesus was born.

Read the Bible, its a good book and you don't have to believe all that is in it, or be a religious nut to do so. It has some good stories....believe them or not.

Oh, it's just that in Mexico is known as Viernes Santo (Holy Friday) and I thought it was from another religion or something.
And no, Jesus was not born in the contemporary Christmas holiday, the catholic church changed the date to the 25th of December to remove the pagan holiday (invictus sun or something like that) It's been long since I read about it
I'm quite aware of The Bible, been all my life in catholic schools

in mexico its called holy friday but i think in the u.s its called good friday..at least thats what everyone calls it
