you should get to know who her friends are and make them aware of you. THEN, its safe to ask her out. if her friends like you, they will tell her to go with you. you don't need classes together to start a convo (although it's always easier). u can bring up school events (dances, games, etc.) or talk about what the hottest buzz. HEY did u hear about the rihanna and chris brown thing? what do you think about it? blah blah.

it actually kinda depends where your living.
