Unable to ban people

Post by Maverick » Wed Mar 22, 2017 3:11 pm

When I started playing this afternoon, there was a speedhacker in the room. I went to ban him and I got this message:

[AdvancedBans] Target has not authorized with the server! Unable to ban!

Anyone have a solution to this?

PM me the info (Nave, server, time, ID if you have it) if you have it and I'll look.

There are some tricks sometimes, like they've connected as a HLTV instance. Naughty haxxxxx0rz.

The one on at your stated time was the VALVE ID, you have to ban them the old fashioned way (not SQL). But note, you have 2 of the same name running around. VALVE ID in Peru and the other is Canada.

How do you ban the "old fashioned way"?

amx_modmenu is the easiest way, but they have to be online if you don't have the privs to add a ban directly (amx_addban).
