-[.40 Cal ]- Games

I was told that I shouldn't use the scroll of resurrection and for the most part I don't.
I do however end up using it just out of sheer reflex when I die(I just press 0 9).
Next map I was using warden just using pistols and i so happen to respawn and kill and was slayed for that.
So I asked for an apology since it was my warden ability and was denied.
My question is, is it a rule that I can't use a scroll and I won't if you guys say so.

I don't think it's a RULE but when you own everyone and their mothers and the server empties out because you're so ridiculously good you might want to think about maybe NOT scrolling....

Is not an official rule. But why where you told not to use it?

I don't mind not using the scroll and I don't empty out the server.
I usually try to match the skill of the best player on or use the weird guns.
I rarely use human or undead.
Just the slay after i revived because of the warden ultimate...

You should not be slayed for scrolling and esp not for using your ult. It is part of warden. Sleepy also doesn't scroll often

As some have said, it is not a rule. We do like to keep things as fair as we can so perhaps that was the reason behind it?! Without knowing the whole story, it's really hard to say. Although, there are plenty of regulars and a few higher up admins that use scroll... and I'm not talking once, I mean sometiems 2-3 times in a round. Many believe that if you have the money to use it, you can.

I don't play much 1.6 anymore so feel free to ignore this lol ..

Sleepy you and I have played a lot back in the day and had some pretty good match ups and I always enjoyed going toe to toe with you. As I said I don't play much 1.6 anymore and I am nowhere near at the level I used to be but I still place rules on myself.

The rules I placed on myself while playing in 40cal are:

No Scroll ever
No Potion ever
No Necklace ever
No Helm ever
When I start going over a 2 k:d I switch to pistol/scout
When I start going over a 3 k:d I lose the scout
Then its human with cloak & knife only time

Keeps it entertaining for me .. and it also lets people kill me more often.

What's up Fudd!!! Been awhile.

You and probably Vic are the best and hardest for me to kill back in TRB. I probably wouldn't stand a chance now. I haven't been the same ever since I switched to a wireless mouse(miss my mx518).

I do have rules that I play by the I try to adhere to all the time. I don't ledge. Depending on player skill level I'm always just on my mp5 or glock. I don't camp as human. I always play wide open(no cover). etc.

I always try to make it fun for the other team because there's no point playing if the server empties out. I'll give your rules a go except for the necklace part...everyone seems to play crypt against me lol.
