How do I get 100 fps on my laptop?

Post by ftw. Rambo » Tue Jun 03, 2014 1:09 pm

Ok so I use a laptop and it's and Intel, Core duo. I can't reach 100 fps unless it's a 5v5 or less. And even then i lag when i shoot and my fps drops to 10 near or in smoke grenades. It makes me mad because I use to have a desktop with a turbo in it so i ran 100.5 fps constant in anything with no lag. I looked everywhere to find out how I can get 100 fps but I can't turn my vsync off outside of CS. Intel won't let me and only other way is paying for Nvidia and turning it off manually from the 3D settings. I was wondering if there was any other possible way?

There is no way you will get 100 fps with a duo core...You need to upgrade your system. With 5 people or less its understandable since your computer doesn't have to process more than 5 moving objects. But when the servers are full or are 12v12 like it is sometimes, your computer will lag, and probably choke consistently. Also, since you have a duo core, I would imagine you only have like 1-2GB of memory. You need to upgrade your memory, and your processor.

Download game booster its by advanced system care I can get 110 fps when its running. It shuts down unnecessary things when games are running to increase speed and fps.

you can hit 100 fps with a duo core. It really depends on your graphics / ram. I used to run a cor2duo Intel 2.7ghz E6750, and I ran a solid 100 FPS with a nvidia 8800GTS and only 4 gigs of ram.

Sounds like your laptop has no graphics card lol. Probably onboard.

So you want 100 fps on your laptop eh? (I also game on a laptop.)

Step 1
In your launch options type this:
-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -freq 60 +ex_interp 0 +gl_ansio 0 -nojoy -nomsaa

**Note: To open your launch options, go to your Steam Library and right-click Counter-Strike. Then select "Properties" and "Set Launch Options." Launch options are like a super console, where everything is on one line. (http://www.40calgames.com/forum/viewtop ... 63&t=16426" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Step 2
In your CS Options:
- Resolution: 640x480
- vertical sync unchecked
- HD models unchecked

Step 3
In your console:
rate 100000
fps_max 100
hud_fastswitch 2
cl_dynamiccrosshair 0
cl_cmdrate 105
cl_updaterate 100
