Update: got home last night and started backing everything up to do another fresh install of windows 7. Had to wait for the darn windows update to finish and started the backup. Checked on it a few hours later and the screen came back to life from sleep mode multipul times. Will check it again when I get home but it seems that a service pack and or update may have corrected my problem!

Wanted to give another update.

Doctor said today that the baby is "breach" today at our appointment. my wife's due date is monday and we just decided to a cesarean section that day. So I may not be on as much over the next week. If baby cant sleep you will see me playing during the middle of the night!
