Take out horrible maps?

Post by .#blaze » Wed Mar 18, 2009 5:30 pm

i was just wondering how you guys came up with the rotation in INT,
because sometimes theres too much dust in a row, or bad maps empty the server.
the bad maps being Train, Nuke, Office and Dust because t's usually end up camping.
train nuke and office arent bad, its just most of the time ppl start to leave when it gets boring and those maps tend be the culprits.

have you guys ever thought about doing VOTES to pick out of say 3 maps near the end of the map???
i think the votes are usually better and that why there also isnt a static rotation all the time...

ps. if you're ever going to apply the voting, add more maps in for the voting system obviously :D

i dont really mind the maps either, its just the maps i mentioned usually empty the server, and i know this because it would be a full house and after it goes to one of those maps the player count dies slowly but surely..

thats why i suggested the voting, that way the maps will still be there but only if voted..

voting would be a good idea. for some servers

but with limits, like cant vote for the map your currently on,3-# of maps per vote.

whats wrong with pitching a tent and starting a campfire? smores are =]!!! lol IMO I think office is a fairly intense map to die/kill and it goes by pretty fast.

I do seem to be in the minority when it comes to my love of .40Train. Most people complain about it being too large... As far as the dust rotations, I haven't been playing long enough for any of the maps to be stale but I could see how after a couple years it might wear on ya.

Kinda funny cause I was playing in the server yesterday when these maps came on and people were all over the server. The server stays populated a lot of the time.

We all love the tent and the campfire.
We get to sing songs and kill terrorists.
But in office, it's the other way around.

Back on subject~
The server is never empty, until like K@@N said, about 1AM.
:]
