-[.40 Cal ]- Games

Poody here!! I miss playing intermediate.... been gone a year now and absolutly NOONE plays here anymore... where as a year ago it was the fullest server around! I would very much like to get our intermediate server back up and full of peeps on a regular basis.... I'm sure you will all agree so lets have some suggestions on this front!?!

I play all the 40 cal servers anytime I'm on, and there's only ever bots there. But sometimes I just need a regular cs fix instead of a mod. Let me know what times you're on poody and I would be happy to play you.

I'm trying to get it populated again by having a game night. Lets hope it works out.

I'm kinda scattered with the times I'm on but definitely miss playing reg cs with all the boys that used to populate this server... what happened?!?! and yeah game night is a good idea but just so hard to get everyone on board

I would if I got a good ping there. I realized I have so much better ping to some servers. I get a ping around 140 to 40cal while I get like 22 ping to some servers hosted somewhere on the east coast I think. I'll try connecting to intermediate and see what ping I get to it now. CS works so much better with low pings.

A lot of that has to do with your ISP. You can go to networktools .net or .com not sure which, and do a trace to see where you're routed to connect to 40 cal. Then all you have to do is call your ISP and ask if the routing can be altered to help lower your latency.

Isn't there some sort of way to boost the server to get it seen? Also, I'm sure the maps have an effect. Stick to the basic maps, d2, inferno, nuke, etc. And remove some of the bots. I think you guys said it was 7 bots in a server? That's way too much, it should be more like three or four at max.
